Anti-counterfeit products
The recent chip shortage has led to an increase of counterfeit products in semiconductor industry.
FTDI has also been seeing a rise in cases of fraudulent chip of our FT232R and FT232B devices in recent months. To reduce the risk of buying counterfeit chips, we strongly encourage our customers to purchase FTDI products directly from FTDI Chip or through our authorized distributors.
