D3XX Direct Drivers
This page contains the D3XX drivers currently available for FTDI Chip USB3.0 SuperSpeed devices.
Installation guides are available from the Installation Guides page of the Documents section of this site for selected operating systems.
FTDI provides a new USB driver called, D3XX, for its range of SuperSpeed USB ICs, such as the FT60x. D3XX implements a proprietary protocol different from D2XX in order to maximize USB 3.0 bandwidth. Application software can access the USB device through a series of DLL function calls. The functions available are listed in the D3XX Programmer’s Guide document which is available from the Documents section of this site.
Programming examples using the D3XX drivers and DLL can be found in the Projects section of this site.
