Reference Design
This page is provided to offer inspiration for applications that may be realised with FTDI chipsets. The reference designs supplied here will include schematic capture, PCB layout and software source code as appropriate.

Software Examples
This section of the web site provides example applications to assist in the development of your own code using FTDI’s D2XX driver and FTD2XX.DLL for the USB products, and some starter projects using the LPC1114 microcontroller populated on the UMFT12XEV to configure and control the FT12 series devices
Utilities
The utilities page contains useful programs that provide extended capabilities for application development and manufacturing support. Engineers should take care to validate output from these utilities. Extreme vigilance should be exercised when dealing with programming/download utilities so that device contents are not erroneously deleted or corrupted.
Firmware
The FTDI firmware section includes firmware development tools and resources for the FT9xx 32-bit Microcontroller Series, and for the Vinculum Series.
