The ChiPi – X10 USB to RS232 converter is an evaluation cable for the FT231X.
The Chipi-X10 is CE, FCC and UKCA approved product which is one of the simplest USB – RS232 solutions around.
Using a standard DB9 connector and powered from the USB port, the ChiPi – X10 can be used with FTDI’s royalty free drivers to provide a Virtual COM Port on a PC which is capable of communication rates with RS232 units from 300 baud up to 250kBaud.
The CHIPI-X10 is fully RoHS compliant
